From 1965... Passion and Quality

Our company was founded in 1965 by an intuition of Raffaello Marilli aimed at improving the craft of pastry.
The idea was to make sure that the pastry does not satisfy themselves with simple products, but they went looking and did use only the best raw materials to arrive to get more and more good and desserts of the highest quality.

Our beginnings were modest: the first seat was not available that a small and uncomfortable (for access) warehouse in Rifredi in Florence, but it is from there that, thanks to the passion and a lot of work of our founder, the company took its first steps in a few years led to a growing success and that allowed it to expand in the new spaces found in Scandicci.
the headquarters of Scandicci, from the outset, has become a recognizable landmark for the pastry, and so it has been for over thirty years.

The great commitment and passion mail in the search for high quality products to offer to the working pastry is passed from father to son, and are precisely the children who now run the company with undiminished enthusiasm.
It is therefore in compliance with the our origins and our history that the company continues to seek partnerships with the biggest and most important groups in the sector, with brands such as Menz & Gasser, and Bayo, a company with which we cooperate profitably since our origins.
Other important brands like Friesland, Spigadoro, Molino on Clitunno Komplet are now arrived to complete our offer.

The constant search for excellence in every aspect of the product, the pleasantness of taste the quality of the raw materials used, finds its distant origins in the early days of our founder who has for many years practiced in the first person, like candy sugar production work confectionery the Marilli first, beginning after the war, was a production company of candied fruit of excellent quality, which has emerged as a stable supplier of flavors and Pepi.

Currently our office is located in Prato, where we can take advantage of the new and larger spaces and where our activities were further expanded to other areas than those traditionally practiced by us.
In this direction, the activity of marketing raw materials has been joined by other activities such as the sale of machinery and equipment for pastry and, thanks to the availability of space, the creation of a small laboratory in which large international companies, such as Backaldrin, Komplet, Caffarel, Menu and Friesland Campina (Debic brand), periodically may hold courses and demonstrations.
Last born of our business, it is the start of a high-quality production of leavened products ranging from Panettone to the Colomba, to Pandoro.

This short story is about change and will always stay in tune with current events, what however, beyond all transformations, has always been and remained constant up to form the figure of our tradition, it is the passion and taste in seeking always the quality of the product.
